Purpose-built to maintain remote visibility and control over switches, routers, firewalls, and PDUs, the CM8004 provides a resilient alternative access path during primary network outages.

Powered by a 1.6 GHz Quad-Core ARM Cortex-A53 processor, 4 GB LPDDR4 RAM, 32 GB eMMC storage, and an embedded Trusted Platform Module (TPM 2.0), the CM8004 combines hardware-based security with NetOps automation capabilities. It natively supports modern automation workflows—including Python scripting and Docker containerized tools—allowing network engineers to automate provisioning and operational remediation directly at the network edge. Managed centrally through Opengear Lighthouse software, the CM8004 helps organizations lower IT operating costs and streamline out-of-band management.
