Overview :

The Opengear ACM7004-5-GLB is a compact, high-density Resilience Gateway engineered to provide secure Smart Out-of-Band (Smart OOB™) management and local network switching for critical IT infrastructure at edge locations, branch offices, retail sites, and server rooms. By integrating 4 RJ45 RS-232 serial console ports, 4 USB 2.0 console ports, and a managed 4-port Gigabit Ethernet switch with an additional GbE/SFP combo uplink, the ACM7004-5-GLB consolidates out-of-band management and local LAN access into a single desktop or rack-mountable appliance.

Powered by an 800 MHz Marvell Armada 370 ARMv7 SoC with 256 MB DDR3 RAM, 32 MB NOR flash, and 4 GB internal NAND flash storage, the ACM7004-5-GLB delivers robust edge intelligence and automated response capabilities. Integrated digital I/O interfaces allow physical security and environmental monitoring via external sensors. Managed centrally through Opengear Lighthouse software, it ensures network operations teams maintain uninterrupted access to remote routers, switches, firewalls, and PDUs during primary WAN outages.
