Opengear ACM7008-2-GLB – ACM7000 Resilience Gateway (8 Serial, 4 USB, 2 GbE Ethernet)

Overview :

The Opengear ACM7008-2-GLB is a compact, high-density Resilience Gateway engineered to deliver secure, out-of-band (OOB) management and remote monitoring for critical network infrastructure. Purpose-built for edge locations, remote branch offices, retail outlets, and server racks, this unit provides an alternative, highly secure access path to switches, routers, firewalls, and PDU console ports during primary network outages.

Powered by an Armada 370 ARMv7 SoC processor with 256 MB DDR3 RAM and 4 GB internal NAND flash storage, the ACM7008-2-GLB features eight RS-232 serial ports with Cisco straight pinouts, four USB 2.0 console ports, and dual Gigabit Ethernet ports configured for primary and failover wired connections. In addition, built-in digital I/O ports support external physical security and environmental monitoring sensors. Managed centrally via Opengear Lighthouse, the ACM7008-2-GLB allows IT teams to remotely detect, isolate, and remediate network issues without requiring costly on-site technician dispatches.
