The Opengear ACM7008-2-M-GLB is a high-density, compact Resilience Gateway engineered to provide secure Smart Out-of-Band (Smart OOB™) management and PSTN failover for critical network infrastructure. Designed for edge environments, branch offices, and server rack installations, this gateway ensures remote engineers maintain secure console access to switches, routers, firewalls, and PDUs even during total IP network outages.

Powered by an 800 MHz Marvell Armada 370 ARMv7 SoC with 256 MB RAM and 4 GB flash storage, the ACM7008-2-M-GLB features 8 RS-232 serial ports (Cisco straight pinout), 4 USB 2.0 console ports, and dual Gigabit Ethernet/SFP combo ports for flexible network uplinks. This variant specifically includes an integrated V.92 PSTN dial-up modem to provide a traditional analog telephone line backup path when broadband and cellular connectivity are unavailable. Centralized orchestration via Opengear Lighthouse allows IT organizations to manage multiple remote sites seamlessly.
