Overview :

The Opengear ACM7004-5-L-GLB is an enterprise-grade, high-density Resilience Gateway designed to provide secure Smart Out-of-Band (Smart OOB?) management, wireless failover, and local network switching for critical IT infrastructure at edge locations, branch offices, and server enclosures. Integrating 4 RJ45 RS-232 serial console ports, 4 USB 2.0 console ports, a managed 4-port Gigabit Ethernet switch with an additional GbE/SFP combo uplink, and an embedded Global 4G LTE cellular modem, this appliance ensures continuous network reachability even during primary broadband circuit failures.

Powered by an 800 MHz Marvell Armada 370 ARMv7 SoC with 256 MB DDR3 RAM, 32 MB NOR flash, and 4 GB internal NAND flash storage, the ACM7004-5-L-GLB delivers robust edge automation and continuous remote visibility. Built-in digital I/O interfaces allow physical environmental monitoring via external sensors (water, smoke, door contact). Managed centrally through Opengear Lighthouse software, it allows NetOps teams to securely inspect, configure, and troubleshoot remote network hardware without sending technicians on-site.
