Overview :

The Opengear CM8116-DDC is a 1U rack-mounted console manager designed to provide secure out-of-band (OOB) management for enterprise networks, data centers, and remote IT infrastructure. It delivers reliable access to critical equipment through 16 fixed-pinout RJ45 serial console ports, allowing administrators to maintain management connectivity during network outages.

Powered by a 1.6 GHz dual-core ARM processor with 2 GB RAM and 32 GB flash storage, the appliance supports Docker containers, TPM 2.0 security, and Opengear Smart OOB™ capabilities. Dual Gigabit Ethernet interfaces and redundant DC power inputs provide resilient connectivity for mission-critical deployments.

The CM8116-DDC is intended for rack-mounted environments requiring secure serial console management with redundant DC power. It integrates with Opengear Lighthouse for centralized device administration. It is not suitable for deployments requiring 10GbE uplinks or integrated cellular connectivity, which are available on other CM8100 series models.
