The Eaton Tripp Lite Series PDUMNH30HV is a 2U horizontal rackmount single-phase monitored power distribution unit (PDU) engineered for high-density network environments, server rooms, and enterprise data centers. It delivers robust 5.5kW power distribution at 230V (or 5kW at 208V) to downstream equipment from a single high-amperage circuit. Network engineers deploy this hardware to enable remote power monitoring and prevent infrastructure overloads without requiring physical presence on the data center floor.

The electrical design interfaces via an attached 12-foot (3.66-meter) power cord equipped with a locking NEMA L6-30P input plug. It divides 16 outlets—comprising 12 IEC-309 C13 and 4 C19 receptacles—into two distinct, separately breakered 20A loading segments. A built-in local digital LCD display reports real-time current metrics across individual banks or all outlets combined, allowing immediate validation of localized aggregate electrical draw before adding new computing hardware.

Remote management visibility is powered by the integrated, pre-installed Java-free HTML5 LX Platform network interface. This network card supports complete remote access for voltage, frequency, and load diagnostics via an array of enterprise-grade management systems, including SNMPv1/v2/v3, HTTP, HTTPS, SSH, and Telnet. To optimize in-rack environmental visibility, the integrated USB-A port acts as a physical host interface for optional monitoring add-ons, such as Envirosense2 temperature and humidity sensor modules.
