Overview :

The 5320-16P-2MXT-2X is part of the Extreme Networks 5320 Universal Edge switching platform, designed for enterprise campus access layers, branch deployments, and wiring closet aggregation.

It delivers a fanless, compact 1U access switch design with:

• 16 × 10/100/1000BASE-T PoE+ ports (802.3at)
• 2 × multi-gig uplinks (1/2.5/5/10GBASE-T)
• 2 × 10G SFP+ uplinks (stacking / aggregation)

This model is optimized for silent enterprise deployments such as offices, classrooms, and edge wiring closets while still supporting high-speed uplinks for aggregation to distribution switches.

It supports Fabric Engine / Switch Engine operating modes, enabling advanced segmentation, automation, and cloud management via ExtremeCloud IQ.

Not suitable for:

• Data center spine/leaf roles
• High PoE budget environments requiring 60W+ per port
