Built on HPE FlexNetwork 5500 HI platform, the JG541A delivers industry-leading resiliency and multi-service support suitable for medium-to-large campus and SMB networks. It features 24 PoE+ RJ‑45 ports (802.3at) supporting Auto-MDI/MDIX, 4 fixed 1 Gb SFP fiber ports, and 2 SFP+ 10‑GbE uplinks. Two modular expansion slots support optional interface modules to scale connectivity. Powered by a 625 MHz tri-core ARM1176 processor, 1 GB SDRAM, 512 MB flash, and 3 MB packet buffer, the switch reliably supports full-line-rate forwarding with low delay (< 5 µs at 1 Gb, < 3 µs for 10 Gb). Performance specifications include a 176 Gbps backplane, 130.9 Mpps throughput, 32,000 MAC addresses, IPv4 route table capacity of 12,000, and IPv6 entries of 6,000.
