Overview :

Intellinet 524179 is a single-port Power over Ethernet (PoE) injector designed to add power delivery capability to a standard non-PoE Ethernet switch connection. It enables network devices such as wireless access points, IP phones, and IP cameras to receive both data and power through existing Cat5 Ethernet cabling.

The injector provides IEEE 802.3af-compliant PoE output with up to 15.4 W power delivery and supports Fast Ethernet data transmission up to 100 Mbps. It includes detection, short-circuit protection, overload protection, and over-voltage protection for connected powered devices.

The desktop-style unit is suitable for branch networks, edge deployments, surveillance installations, and wireless infrastructure where PoE capability is required without replacing existing Ethernet switches. It is not intended for Gigabit PoE applications or devices requiring higher PoE classes.
