INTELLINET 562348 Outdoor Gigabit PoE Extender

Overview :

The INTELLINET 562348 is an outdoor Gigabit PoE++ extender that increases the maximum Ethernet and Power over Ethernet transmission distance from 100 m (328 ft.) to 200 m (656 ft.) without requiring an external power supply. It is designed for outdoor surveillance, wireless networking, industrial sites, campuses, and other installations where powered devices are located beyond the standard Ethernet distance.

Compliant with IEEE 802.3bt (4PPoE), IEEE 802.3at, and IEEE 802.3af standards, the extender accepts up to 95 W of PoE input and delivers up to 65.2 W to a connected powered device while maintaining Gigabit Ethernet performance. It supports 10/100/1000 Mbps data rates and requires only a single network cable for both power and data transmission.

Its IP67-rated aluminum enclosure protects against dust and water, making it suitable for outdoor and harsh industrial environments. The unit supports wall mounting and can be daisy-chained with up to five extenders, extending the total PoE transmission distance to as much as 600 m (1,969 ft.), depending on the required power output.

The 562348 is compatible with IEEE 802.3bt, 802.3at, and 802.3af PoE switches, injectors, and powered devices such as IP cameras, wireless access points, and VoIP phones. It is intended for Gigabit PoE extension and should not be used where non-standard PoE implementations or external power injection are required.
