Technically, the unit supports 3G-SDI, HD-SDI, and SD-SDI input signals, automatically detecting the bitstream to ensure seamless conversion. It supports video resolutions up to 1920×1080 (1080p) at 60Hz and handles 8-channel embedded audio, preserving the high-fidelity sound required for professional monitoring. The device features integrated signal equalization and re-clocking, which allows for SDI input cable runs of up to 300 meters (SD) or 100 meters (3G), ensuring signal integrity over long distances before conversion.
