Overview :

The APC SMT2200RMI2U is a 2.2?kVA (1980?W) line?interactive UPS designed to provide regulated AC power and battery backup for rack-mounted servers, storage systems, and networking equipment. It is deployed by IT engineers, network architects, and infrastructure managers in IDF/MDF racks, server rooms, and branch offices where stable power and short-duration backup are required.

This UPS uses line-interactive topology with Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) to correct under- and over-voltages without unnecessary battery use, preserving battery life and maintaining consistent output. It delivers pure sine-wave output at 120?V, compatible with sensitive electronics and active-PFC devices.

The unit comes in a 2U rackmount chassis for standard 19-inch server racks. An LCD control panel provides real-time information on load, battery status, and event conditions, simplifying monitoring and diagnostics. Batteries are hot-swappable, allowing replacement without disrupting protected loads.

Management interfaces include USB and serial ports, enabling remote monitoring, event logging, and controlled shutdown via compatible software. Audible alarms notify operators of battery status and power events.
