Overview :

The Opengear OM2232-L is a high-density, enterprise-grade NetOps Operations Manager appliance designed for secure Smart Out-of-Band (Smart OOB™) management, automated edge operations, and wireless cellular failover. Built for hyper-scale data centers, central offices, and high-density rack environments, the OM2232-L combines 32 software-selectable RJ45 RS-232 serial console ports with an integrated Global 4G LTE-A Pro cellular modem to ensure continuous remote access to network infrastructure even during primary and secondary wired WAN outages.

Powered by an AMD GX-412TC quad-core 1.4 GHz x86 processor, 8 GB DDR3 RAM, 64 GB M.2 SATA SSD storage, and an embedded Trusted Platform Module (TPM 2.0), the OM2232-L natively supports modern NetOps and DevOps workflows. Network teams can run Python scripts and Docker containers directly on the unit for edge automation and self-healing remediation. Managed centrally via Opengear Lighthouse software, the OM2232-L provides unified visibility and resilient out-of-band connectivity across enterprise IT sites.
